Booking conditions – Camping

General

The campsite uses the Camping Key Europe system, which means that you must have a valid Camping Card when making a reservation. This can be purchased at SCR.se and is available in a free version and a paid version which comes with extra benefits.

Age limit for booking: To book/enter into an agreement with Ystad Camping, you must be 18 years of age or older. Identification may be required at check-in. Meeting the age limit is a requirement for access to the accommodation/campsite.

Booking/Payment

After booking, a booking confirmation/invoice will be sent to you.

Payment

The campsite must be paid in full no later than 40 days before your arrival. When booking more than 40 days before arrival, you can choose to pay directly at the time of booking or via invoice no later than 40 days before arrival (an invoice fee of 85 SEK will be added). When booking closer than 40 days to arrival, the booking must be paid directly at the time of booking.

Mark payment with booking number/invoice number and/or name.

In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without further notice.

Cancellation protection

You can also take out cancellation protection at a cost of 300 SEK when booking. Cancellation protection can only be taken out at the time of booking and is valid per campsite pitch.

By taking out cancellation protection, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your arrival date, without any additional fee except a handling fee of 150 SEK + cancellation protection of 300 SEK, provided that any of the following events have occurred:

• Death, illness or serious accident affecting you, your spouse, partner, your or your spouse’s/partner’s children, siblings or fellow travelers.
• A serious event has occurred outside your control, such as extensive fire or water damage to your home, which means that it is not reasonable to ask you to continue with your booking.
• Call-up to the armed forces or civil defense.
• You must be able to prove your disability with a certificate from a doctor, authority or insurance company. Certificates received later than seven (7) days after the cancellation date will not be considered.
• In the event of a cancellation, the cost of the paid cancellation protection and any handling fee will not be refunded.

Cancellation

Cancellation can be made verbally or in writing (telephone or email), and must be made by the person who made the booking or whose name is registered on the booking.

Cancellation earlier than 40 days before arrival:

• Without cancellation protection: The entire rental amount is refunded excl. a handling fee of 150 SEK (provided that the final payment has been made)
• With cancellation protection: The entire rental amount is refunded incl. the cancellation protection of 300 SEK excl. a handling fee of 150 SEK (provided that the final payment has been made)

Cancellation later than 40 days before arrival:

• Without cancellation protection: 10% of the rental amount is refunded
• With cancellation protection: The entire rental amount is refunded excl. a handling fee of 150 SEK and the cancellation protection of 300 SEK.

If cancelled on the day of arrival, the rental amount is NOT refunded.
Cancellation protection is NOT refundable after the 40-day limit has been exceeded.
Billing/invoice fee is NOT refundable.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in: From 13:00
Check-out: No later than 12:00 unless otherwise agreed.

At check-out, shower cards must be returned to the reception.

If you do not leave the campsite on time, you may be charged any additional costs that arise if the next guest cannot check in on time.

Insurance

You are responsible for having the necessary protection such as liability, accident and luggage insurance. If you have a valid Camping Key Europe, special insurance applies in the event of an accident on site.

Camping facility liability

The camping facility will be liable for damage caused to you through proven negligence by the campsite owner or by his/her staff within the framework of their duties.

The camping facility is not liable for damage caused to you by third parties or other guests. Nor for damage that was beyond the control of the camping facility.

Complaints/claims

If the rental accommodation does not meet the agreed standard, we would like you to report this immediately during the reception’s regular opening hours, so that we have the opportunity to correct the problem.

The same applies to other problems that occur during the stay.
